Check out the travel page. Make your own contribution after a trip. is a good source of new and used copies. Also some folks have found excellent prices on eBay.

You want to be sure that you purchase the Second Edition or Second Edition revised, copyright 2002 or later. Don't get the first edition!

The two volume boxed set with a Van Gogh slipcover is no longer in print but is available used. It's very nice.

I also highly recommend having a copy of a book called  The Annotated Mona Lisa. Students say this is the most useful review tool available for the AP Art History test.. She also has a book entitled The Annotated Arch about architecture. I think it's good, but I haven't really used it that much.

Here is a link to the title at You can choose either new or used, all at a good price..
Annotated Mona Lisa

Remember, there is no requirement to purchase either text. I issue  a copy of the text we are using in Humanities class, and it will be adequate for all tests and quizzes.
